2nd Annual Hollywood Teamsters Charity Golf Tournament

Thank you to everyone that played, sponsored, or participated in our 2nd Annual Hollywood Teamsters Charity Golf Tournament. The event was held on Friday, April 7th at Industry Hills Golf Course at the Pacific Palms Resort. This is the second year our tournament was run by our Local 399 Charity Fund as a fundraising event. Our charity fund helps support programs like our Leo T. Reed Memorial Scholarship Fund, which to date has awarded 70 students with scholarships to help with college tuition or vocational school.

This year’s event was extremely successful event! We had almost 300 golfers this year and with the generosity of the players and our sponsors, we raised over $200,000. Due to the success, we have been able to expand our scholarship program as well as support other Local Unions in their fundraising efforts for similar programs that support their members and family.
