The Electronic Logging Device (ELD) mandate nationwide starts Monday, December 18th. The Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) filed for an exemption with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) in November for the Motion Picture Industry. As of now we have not heard from the FMCSA on their decision.

The Union will post the decision as soon as its available.

No matter what decision the FMCSA makes ELD’s will not be in forced until April 2018.
