DIGITAL TOWN HALL: ‘Return to Work’ Agreement
September 24, 2020 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
COVID-19 ‘RETURN TO WORK’ AGREEMENT REACHED
Digital Town Hall: Thursday, September 24th at 6PM
These last several months have been difficult to say the least, however we are happy to report that we have taken the necessary steps to ensure Feature and Television production returns in this COVID-19 world with your safety as our number one priority.
We are pleased to announce that as of today we have concluded the ‘Return to Work’ discussions with the AMPTP. We have been working alongside our Sister Guilds and Unions and the AMPTP for the last several months to develop ‘Return to Work’ Protocols. These protocols will give our Industry the best chance to succeed while safely returning to work. The joint discussions with the other Entertainment Guilds and Unions have been truly historic. Together, we have carefully reviewed the role of all crew members on production and have fought to protect every craft and classification as if they were our own Members, with the common goal of safety on the job and the preservation of all jobs throughout our Industry. We are grateful for this collaborative effort with the other Guilds and Unions and for the solidarity exhibited to ensure all concerns were addressed.
