Keep California Rolling Heads to Sacramento
Entertainment Union Coalition Members Unite to Save California Entertainment Jobs
On March 4, 2025, over 100 entertainment union and guild members traveled to Sacramento with the Entertainment Union Coalition to advocate for expanded film and TV production jobs in California. We attended the Assembly Budget Subcommittee Hearing to support Governor Newsom’s proposed increase in funding for the state’s incentive program, which is crucial to keeping California competitive in the entertainment industry.
On Wednesday, March 5, our coalition went door-to-door to elected officials’ offices in both the state Assembly and Senate to share our stories and ask for their support in saving the film and television industry in California.
