ATTENTION: Online Dues Payments UNAVAILABLE Until Website Re-Launch January 2025
As shared mid-December, we are in the process of UPDATING our Local 399 website AND are switching to a NEW Payment Processor System.
We believe the switch will improve members ability to keep on track with your Quarterly Dues payments to help you avoid fines and late fees. As you know, dues are due the same (4) months every year (January, April, July & October) and are the responsibility of all members to pay on time according to the Local 399 By-Laws. To help members better understand your Quarterly membership dues, we will also be rolling out a FAQ alongside our new payment system in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!
In preparation of the switch, we have removed our online payment pages for the time being. We expect to have a SPLASH PAGE of our new website with our updated payment pages available early January 2025. For the time being, please review the information below carefully and email payments@ht399.org with any additional questions.
WHAT IS THE NEW PAYMENT PROCESSOR WE ARE MOVING TO & WHY?
Since 2014, Local 399 has used Authorize.net as our payment processor to accept online payments. The switch came about after researching other payment processor systems with more built in functionality to offer more support to our members regarding your account. All payments moving forward will be processed by Square, however our Local 399 recurring payment plan subscribers will be managed through a system that integrates with Square called SUBMATIC.
WHAT WILL THE BENEFITS BE TO THE NEW SYSTEM FOR MEMBERS?
For Members that make one-time online payments:
More real time, digital receipts with ease of fulfilling any outstanding balance and more direct interaction with Local 399 Member Specialists through chat support. For those on any sort of initiation or reinitiating payment plan, we will also have a more robust invoicing process to help members stay on track with their account.
For Members with an active Recurring Payment Plan:
After your account is moved over, you will be able to create a login to manage your contact information, communication preferences and credit card on file. SUBMATIC has built in notifications that will let you know about an upcoming payment, if your credit card is expired, or is expiring, and will send multiple automatic reminders if your card is declined at any of the scheduled payments of January 1st, April 1st, July 1st, or October 1st. You will also be able to easily update credit card information without having to contact the Front Office or sign-up for a new plan.
I AM ON A RECURRING PAYMENT PLAN, WHAT HAPPENS TO MY ACCOUNT?
For those on an active recurring payment plan, a separate notice has been sent via email to all we have identified with an active account. If you believe you ARE on a recurring payment plan, and DID NOT get an email overview regarding your account, please email payments@ht399.org.
I HAVE YET TO PAY FOR THE 4TH QUARTER DUES THAT WERE DUES IN OCTOBER. WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS?
Dues for the 4th Quarter were due in October to cover the months of October, November & December. If you have yet to pay for your 4th Quarter dues, you have until the last Business Day of December (Tuesday, December 31st at 5PM(pst) to make a payment to avoid Suspension. Please note, at this time, your account will have a $40 late fee if you have yet to pay for the current Quarter.
Options to pay are:

- VISIT the Local 399 Union Hall to pay in-person OR drop you payment in our Local 399 Mail Drop if paying outside of the hours of 9AM – 5PM(pst) Monday through Friday.

- Please note, check must be RECEIVED in office by the last business day of the month to be considered on-time if you are behind on your 4th Quarter dues.
- FOR THE TIME BEING: Should you intend to make a payment AFTER Business Hours but BEFORE the last business day of December and you believe your account is behind, please EMAIL office@ht399.org Name and Last 4 SSN and confirm that you would like to make a payment.
- Our Front Office Staff will email you a payment link to complete your dues.
If you are trying to pay online in advance of the 1st Quarter (January, February, March) we ask that you simply wait until the online payments are back on the website early January. We will let the membership know when live.
WHEN WILL THE NEW WEBSITE BE ROLLED OUT AND WHAT FUNCTIONALITY CAN I EXPECT?
We will be doing a SOFT LAUNCH in early January of our new Local 399 website with limited navigation while we work to roll out the full website by April 2025. Stay tuned for more information about the full functionality and features of the new website.
WHEN WILL I KNOW THAT THE NEW PAYMENT PAGES ARE BACK ON THE WEBSITE?
We will email the members when our new payment pages are live as well as share on social media.
I WOULD LIKE TO SIGN-UP FOR A RECURRING PAYMENT PLAN. HOW DO I DO THAT?
If you are NOT currently on a recurring payment plan, please wait until after January 1st and once the new payment pages are live so that you can enroll in a recurring plan.
