Violation: Section 30 – Obligation – of Local 399’s By-Laws. “I will never knowingly harm a fellow member.”
I have received a number of complaints regarding members who have not called the Call Board to take their names off the hiring list when hired. If this is true, it prevents a lot of Group Ones, Twos, and Threes from work opportunities, to earn a living.
Those people will be warned once, then charges will be filed pursuant the above mentioned By-Laws, “knowingly harming a fellow member.” I’m not going to put up with this “bullshit!”
Our whole membership has bills to pay, rent to pay and food to put on their tables. We cannot allow a select few to play the system and prevent our out-of-work members from attaining a job.
